Turning point-sampled geometry into a surface.

The contract and its types. A concrete provider arrives with the pointcloud-provider feature, or a caller supplies its own.

Modules§

conformance: Conformance suite every PointcloudReconstruction provider must pass.

BackendDescriptor: Provider identity only. It deliberately contains no operation booleans.
BackendId: Stable provider identifier for logs and explicit selection.
ExecutionOptions: Operation policy with explicit tolerance, precision, and cancellation.
ReconstructionEvidence: Counters describing one reconstruction.
ReconstructionOutcome: A reconstruction and the evidence that produced it.
ReconstructionRequest: What the caller wants reconstructed.
SdfReconstruction: Reference provider: a signed-distance field extracted as a level set. Reference reconstruction provider.

CancellationGranularity: How finely a provider polls its cancellation token.
Determinism: Reproducibility requirement.
ExecutionTarget: Broad execution target. Specific ISA/device features stay in provider crates.
GeomError: Why a backend-neutral geometry operation failed.
Operation: Operation name used for diagnostics only. Implementing an operation trait is the capability proof; this enum never drives capability discovery.
Reconstruction: Either a reconstruction or a typed reason there is none.
ReconstructionRefusal: Why a reconstruction could not be performed.
Resolution: How densely the surface should be reconstructed.
ScratchRequirement: Scratch memory an operation needs beyond its inputs and outputs.
