Parameter naming point on a 2D curve, or a refusal.

Exact for the families whose inversion is algebraic. Anything else is refused by name: introducing iteration here would put a tolerance and a convergence failure mode into every consumer of a point trim, and the certified iterative path belongs to a caller that can carry its evidence.

Errors

Refuses a point further than tolerance from the curve rather than projecting it, and refuses families with no closed-form inversion.
