Enum Precision

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Precision { F32, F64, Mixed, Exact, }
Expand description

Arithmetic precision accepted or required by an operation.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

F32

IEEE single precision.

§

F64

IEEE double precision.

§

Mixed

Deliberate mixed-precision path with documented error bounds.

§

Exact

Exact arithmetic: the result carries no rounding error at all.
