Struct BoxEvidence

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct BoxEvidence { pub candidates: usize, pub axis_aligned_volume: f64, pub orthogonality: f64, }
Expand description

How the box was chosen and how far its axes are from orthonormal.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§candidates: usize

Orientations tried.

§axis_aligned_volume: f64

The volume of the axis-aligned box, computed the same way; the returned box’s OrientedBox::volume is never above it.

§orthogonality: f64

An upper bound on |axes[i] . axes[j] - [i == j]| over all pairs, measured exactly: how far the rounded axes are from orthonormal.
