The line misses the conic.

Tangent(ConicLineHit)

The line is tangent: one hit of multiplicity two.

Secant(ConicLineHit, ConicLineHit)

Two distinct hits, first then second along the line.

Single(ConicLineHit)

Exactly one hit because the line is parallel to an asymptote (or the axis of a parabola): the quadratic in t degenerates to linear.

OnConic

The whole line lies on the conic (a degenerate conic).
