Enum LinearIntersectionError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum LinearIntersectionError { NonFiniteInput { side: InputSide, }, DegenerateDirection { side: InputSide, }, ArithmeticOverflow, }
Expand description

Why a linear intersection could not be answered.

These are refusals, not results: none of them may be interpreted as “no intersection”. A disjoint configuration is a successful classification.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

NonFiniteInput

An operand carried a non-finite coordinate or direction component.

Fields

§side: InputSide

Operand at fault.

§

DegenerateDirection

An operand’s direction was zero, so it does not define a line.

Fields

§side: InputSide

Operand at fault.

§

ArithmeticOverflow

An intermediate value left the finite range, so no sign is provable.
