Enum MeshProximityError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum MeshProximityError { EmptyMesh, IndexOutOfRange, InvalidThreshold, Primitive(ProximityError), }
Expand description

Why a mesh proximity query could not be answered.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

EmptyMesh

A mesh had no usable triangles.

Distance to nothing is undefined; returning infinity would let a caller read an empty mesh as “very far away” rather than “no input”.

§

IndexOutOfRange

A triangle referenced a position the mesh does not have.

§

InvalidThreshold

The threshold was negative or not finite.

§

Primitive(ProximityError)

A primitive query rejected its input.
