Enum ExactCurveRefusal

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ExactCurveRefusal { UnsupportedCurve, UnsupportedSurface, NonFinite, Degenerate, PartialOverlap, }
Expand description

Why an exact curve intersection was not computed.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

UnsupportedCurve

The curve is not a line, circle or ellipse. B-spline curves go through the certified numeric path instead.

§

UnsupportedSurface

The surface is a B-spline surface or an unknown kind.

§

NonFinite

An input coordinate, radius or angle is NaN or infinite.

§

Degenerate

A frame is singular, a direction is zero, or a radius is not positive: there is no curve or surface to intersect.

§

PartialOverlap

The curve lies in the cone’s quadric but crosses its apex, so only part of it is on the modelled nappe: the overlap is a ray, which is neither a finite point set nor the whole curve.
